The Society of Typographic Arts is pleased to congratulate the designers whose work was chosen to become a part of the
Chicago Design Archive permanent collection. Archive '07--the premier Chicago Design competition--recognizes and promotes the outstanding achievements of the Chicago design community.
Selected work is based on design integrity and quality that reflect the richness and depth of Chicago design. Below please find details about the selected work. Where possible, a link to the corporate site of each firm has been provided.
One of the STA's mission goals is to "promote an awareness of the influence of the history and the future of design in Chicago and the Midwest." Archive '07, the annual design event from the STA and now in its third year, continues this mission by calling for entries from Chicago area design professionals, to select from among them the representative work that becomes part of the permanent collection of the
Chicago Design Archive -- a collection spanning the breadth of STA's 80 year history, and available online for students, professionals, researchers and historians worldwide.
We welcome your comments on Archive '07 selections. Send us your feedback.
