It's time to add your layer to the Chicago design continuum.
From the beginning days of Oswald Cooper, Mies van der Rohe, and the groundbreaking work for Container Corporation of America, through today's future design professionals enrolled in local colleges and arts institutions, The Society of Typographic Arts has been an association of and for Chicago design professionals.
One of the STA's mission goals is to "promote an awareness of the influence of the history and the future of design in Chicago and the Midwest." Archive '07, the annual design event from the STA and now in its third year, continues this mission by calling for entries from Chicago area design professionals, to select from among them the representative work that becomes part of the permanent collection of the
Chicago Design Archive -- a collection spanning the breadth of STA's 80 year history, and available online for students, professionals, researchers and historians worldwide.
Enter Archive '07 today. All Chicago-based design professionals, students, agencies, and corporate in-house art departments are eligible. It's time to enter your work, and to earn a place in the Chicago design legacy.
